OUR IDENTITY
Derived from the Serer term “lam”, meaning heritage, our name is inspired by the journey of our founder. “Lam” refers both to the core values of hard work and commitment inherited from his parents, and to the tradition of excellence and rigor passed on by his mentor and by the international law firms where the founder built his experience. This dual heritage lies at the very heart of Lamane Partners’ identity. Founder
Thierry Diouf holds a Master’s degree (Master 2) in Business Law from the University of Paris I – Panthéon-Sorbonne and a diploma from the Magistère in Economic Activities Law of Paris I. Thierry Diouf began his legal career at the Paris office of the English law firm Clifford Chance LLP, where he practiced for four years, before joining the Paris office of the American law firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, where he practiced for six years. He is fluent in Serer, Wolof, French, and English.
